Important to know when moving

So that things go as smoothly as possible, it is important that you notify us of your move no later than 7 working days before your moving date.

Please report the move as early as possible - but not earlier than 2 months before the moving date. That way we can make sure that your utility agreements are activated and running at your new address when you move in.

After your moving date, EWII will send you the final statement for your previous address.

If you are bringing EWII with you, we will send the revised agreements to you via digital post provided we have your email address. If we do not yet have your address, we will send it to the address we have on file. Please note that this can take up to 6 weeks after your moving date.

In Denmark the electricity market has been free since 2003.

This means that you are free to choose the electricity supplier you want.

On the other hand, you cannot decide your own electricity network company - that is, the company that owns the physical electricity network where you live. It will be the same no matter which electricity company you choose.

You must contact the electricity supplier with whom you wish to enter into an electricity agreement. If you want to switch to EWII, you can call our customer service at 70 55 55 55 or order electricity via our website.

Please note: We have been made aware that some electricity providers may charge you a fee for not personally canceling your subscription. We therefore recommend that you also cancel your subscription with your current electricity supplier. It is also preferable that you do so in writing, so you have documentation for your termination.

If you need help choosing an electricity agreement or with terminating a contract with your current provider, you can call our customer service on 70 55 55 55.
