Power Trader to EWII Trading

We are looking for both Junior and Senior Power Traders who specialize in intraday and/or day-ahead power markets. The role centers on optimizing trading strategies and actively engaging in the dynamics of these specific markets. You will be given a high degree of autonomy, and we will invest resources to support your journey towards success in this position.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute trading strategies on the European intraday and day-ahead power markets.
• Optimize BESS and renewable generation assets to maximize revenue and support grid stability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to turn market insights into effective trading actions.
• Play an active role in elevating the team to high performance.

Standard working hours are weekdays between 07:00 and 16:00 with approximately one evening shift per week, from 15:00 to 23:00. We offer flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.

 

Your future colleagues

You will be a valuable member of EWIIs Trading department, currently consisting of 18 individuals, with roles divided between traders and analysts.

Specifically, you will be a part of the Short Term & Algo Trading team, where you will work in close collaboration with our skilled traders. The culture is focused on teamwork and emphasizes creating an environment in which information is shared and synergies between team members arise.

• have a master’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field is preferred. Or if you possess extensive experience within the power market.
